Garlic Lemon Greens


2 bags 16 oz.each frozen Turnip Greens (or Collard Greens)
4 to 5 Garlic cloves, crushed to a pulp
4 Lemons juiced
1/2 cup Olive Oil
Sea Salt or Pink Himalayan Salt  to taste


Add about 5 cups of water to a pot and the frozen greens. Bring to a boil and allow it steam for about 10 to 15 mins. Next drain the water with a strainer or cheese cloth and allow to cool. You can also add ice water to the greens to speed cool and then drain the water.

Next with your hand press hand fulls of greens to remove excess water but do not over press and place in a bowl. Add the pulped garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil and mix well. Finally add salt to taste, mix well.

Will keep in refrigerator for a week.

Serving Suggestions: use as a side with any main course or as a snack/dip.
